Mayweather vs McGregor: Dave Coldwell says Floyd Mayweather is failing to match Conor McGregor

Dave Coldwell has watched bitter rivals collide at press conferences, but what did he make of Floyd Mayweather's latest meeting with Conor McGregor in New York?
First impression
I was looking forward to this, but they were over two hours late and it was a bit forced. Maybe the whirlwind tour blew itself out a bit in Toronto? When you are in a confined space with each other constantly, having all this back-and-forth, then you cannot keep doing the same thing over and over again. The funniest entertainment is when it's spontaneous.
McGregor's performance
Conor came out and was trying to be funny and for me, it just didn't work. McGregor is always best when he's responding to someone else's comments. You've got the two biggest mouthpieces in each of their sports. McGregor is just hilarious and he's almost happy to be a caricature of himself.
Mayweather's performance
I think Mayweather is trying to keep up with McGregor on this tour. The way that Mayweather's speaking, he's brash, the amount of swearing that is coming out of him - he's trying to keep up. He's trying to be the McGregor of boxing, which he isn't. His personality isn't the same as McGregor, who is a one-off. By him trying to compete with that, he struggled.
Best bit
Mayweather came out and threw wads of cash, and McGregor is funniest when he's reacting. He said: "They're all ones!" Mayweather was responding to when McGregor picked up his bag and asked: "Is that all you've got? Five grand!" He came loaded for this one and they are funny characters.
Worst bit
The worst bit was when all of Mayweather's pumped up, overweight bodyguards surrounded McGregor's mates, who were probably UFC fighters and could chew them up in about 30 seconds. It looked like UFC went WWE.
What did you think of the crowd?
In Toronto, the crowd really got into it and there was a fantastic atmosphere, whereas for Brooklyn they did not seem as into it. Maybe it was because they were waiting for so long? It kept getting put back and when you get treated like that, then it knocks the edge off them.
Face-off
They have done it that many times now, it's just a bit too forced. I think you could see a little bit of pushing and shoving, and a few things thrown between the bodyguards tonight. Something could go off in order to get people hyped again.
Who won?
This press conference was a 0-0 draw. I thought Toronto was brilliant, Los Angeles was good, but they both forced it too much last night. The stakes are getting higher and the pressure is on them to impress in London. They'll be thinking that they have to step their game up.
