Saturday 24 June 2017 17:52, UK
Watch a side-by-side comparison of Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas' qualifying laps as the Briton left it late to seal a 66th career pole at the Azerbaijan GP.
Hamilton's mistake at the end of his first flying lap, followed by Daniel Ricciardo's crash and subsequent red flag for the session, meant Bottas was on provisional pole as the Mercedes duo prepared for their final attempts in Baku.
The Finn even held an advantage through the first sector before his team-mate responded, and Sky F1's Johnny Herbert is at the SkyPad to analyse the Q3 laps and see just where Hamilton found the 0.434s advantage.

"That was one of the most exciting laps that I've had all year," said Hamilton. "A lot of pressure. That's how qualifying should be."
Mercedes' competitors, meanwhile, were nowhere to be seen as Hamilton was 1.1s clear of Kimi Raikkonen in third, with Ferrari team-mate and championship leader Sebastian Vettel fourth.
