Manning made his first appearance in a Super Bowl and played a starring role for the Indianapolis Colts as they claimed 29-17 win over the Chicago Bears.
He was named the Super Bowl Most Valuable Player after completing 25 of 38 passes for 247 yards and a touchdown with one interception.
February 7, 2010
Manning guided the Colts back to the Super Bowl, but would endure bitter disappointment in a 31-17 defeat to the New Orleans Saints.
After driving the Colts deep, Manning's pass was intercepted by Tracey Porter, who returned it 74 yards for the deciding points.

A superb individual display from Manning helped the Denver Broncos to a 49-27 win over the Baltimore Ravens in the season opener.
