Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant likely to miss New York Giants rematch

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant is unlikely to make his return to action from injury this weekend after failing to make the trip to New York with his team-mates.
The All-Pro receiver, who fractured the fifth metatarsal on his right foot in the opening game of the season against the Giants six weeks ago, was listed as doubtful on Friday, and now seems highly likely to miss Sunday's rematch.
Bryant did some conditioning work in practice after making his first appearance during the bye last week, and although he could still fly up to join his Dallas team-mates on Saturday, he is likely to stay in Dallas and rest.
"He understands the importance of working hard every day and doing everything he can to take care of his part of it, to get himself healthy and ready to go again," head coach Jason Garrett told the official Dallas Cowboys website.
The Cowboys are 0-3 without Bryant and Tony Romo, who broke his left collarbone a week after Bryant went down and will miss at least four more games.
