CJ Anderson: I have 'mad respect' for Tom Brady

Denver Broncos running back CJ Anderson has highlighted the respect he has for Tom Brady after his side beat the quarterback's New England Patriots in the AFC Championship game.

The Broncos were underdogs heading into Sunday's match, but edged past the Patriots 20-18 to book their place at Super Bowl 50 to face the Carolina Panthers.

On Tuesday, Anderson took to Instagram to post a picture of himself with Brady from the aftermath of the game, and filled the caption with praise for the Patriots star.

"I know a lot of people hate this man, but man when he was (picked) 199 and was (overlooked), he inspired me," said Anderson. "I was undrafted and overcame all the odds so bless what he told me at the end of this game.

"He said 'C.J., way to fight and prove everybody wrong. You belong in this league and (you're) one hell of a player. I love the way you run keep climbing to be great.'

"I'm proud to say I'm 3-2 vs. his teams and proud to say I get to battle him every year and I know a lot of people don't like you but I have MAD RESPECT."
