Cincinnati Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis has signed a third consecutive one-year contract extension through to the 2017 season.
Lewis completed his 13th season as the Bengals head coach last campaign leading the side to a 12-4 record in the regular season.
However, their playoff nightmare continued in January as they blew a last-minute lead against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Lewis and the Bengals have not recorded a single postseason win during his tenure, never making it out of the Wild Card Round.
He had built a 112-94-2 overall record in the regular season and 0-7 in the playoffs during his time with the AFC franchise.
