Eddie Royal returned a punt from 65 yards in Chicago Bears' 29-14 defeat to Philadelphia Eagles.

Week two in the NFL ended in defeat for the Chicago Bears but Eddie Royal lived up to his name with a stunning punt return.

The Bears slipped to a second straight defeat as Philadelphia Eagles ran out 29-14 winners at Soldier Field to record back-to-back victories but Royal did his best to haul the hosts back into the contest.

Trailing 29-7 in the fourth quarter and with five minutes remaining, wide-receiver Royal had dropped into his position for a return and while he was too late to make Neil Reynolds and Shaun Gayle's top five running plays of the week, he ensured a spot all of his own.

Royal, one of the only bright spots in a poor Bears attack, returned the kick 65 yards to double the Bears' score and rekindle hopes of an unlikely comeback
