Oakland Raiders have unveiled plans for the new home in Las Vegas

After confirmation of plans to relocate to Las Vegas in 2020, Oakland Raiders have unveiled plans for their proposed 65,000-seat venue

At the NFL's owners and coaches meeting earlier this week, the owners approved the proposal to relocate to Las Vegas by 31 votes to one.

Despite the anger, and suggestions that the franchise could move to their Oakland home earlier depending on how the decision impacts, there is a current expectation that the Raiders will play in the Bay Area for two or three more years.

The intention is then to move to a $1.7bn (£1.35m) stadium near the Las Vegas strip as the Nevada city prepares to welcome its second sports team.

The Las Vegas Golden Knights will enter the 2017 NHL season as Vegas prepares to welcome ice hockey, and with NFL on the agenda, the Raiders have unveiled a video detailing their plans for a spectacular new home.
