WATCH: Demolition fails to take down Detroit stadium

The planned demolition of the Pontiac Silverdome, the former home of the Detroit Lions, has spectacularly failed.
The stadium, which has largely been empty since the Lions moved to Ford Field in 2002, was due to commence on Sunday with a partial implosion in order to make way for redevelopment of the site.
However, the arena's support beams were able to withstand the explosive charges used, allowing the stadium to remain standing after detonation.
Local officials confirmed that the demolition failed to go as planned and that the stadium may have to be taken down mechanically.
The Lions travel to Baltimore to take on the Ravens on Sunday, while the Minnesota Vikings face the Atlanta Falcons, live on Sky Sports Action.
