Nick Foles to line up for Philadelphia Eagles against Chicago Bears

Nick Foles will start for the Super Bowl champions Philadelphia Eagles in their NFL playoff opener against Chicago despite picking up an injury on Sunday.
Head coach Doug Pederson said the veteran signal-caller was "feeling good" and diagnostic tests were "clear" after Foles took a heavy hit to the chest when he was sacked late in Sunday's win at the Washington Redskins that helped the Eagles secure a playoff berth.
"We'll take care of him and make sure he's ready for Sunday," Pederson said of Foles.
The coach had no update on quarterback Carson Wentz, the team's No. 1 quarterback who has been sidelined by a stress fracture in a vertebra.
Should the Eagles get past the Bears to set up a second-round meeting with NFC top seeds New Orleans, Pederson said, "I'll evaluate (the QB situation) next Monday."
Foles stepped in for Wentz for three key games to end the regular season. He is 4-1 in five starts in this campaign.
Although he's not the Eagles' top quarterback, and is not expected to be with them next season, he has plenty of big-game experience.
He took over as starter when Wentz was injured last season and led the Eagles to the Super Bowl crown - earning Super Bowl Most Valuable Player honours.
