Indianapolis Colts centre Ryan Kelly took part in full practice on Wednesday and expects to play in Saturday's AFC wild-card game against the Houston Texans.
Kelly injured his neck in Week 16 against the New York Giants and missed the regular-season finale against the Tennessee Titans.
Kelly said the injury affected his arm strength so there was no way he could try attempt to play against the Titans.
He said: "It was a big week last week, and I felt after the (Tennessee) game and going through some walkthrough stuff (Tuesday), I felt like the strength was back.
"Doing some things to hopefully help my neck stay in the same spot and not move around too much. Other than that, I feel well."
Kelly, a Pro Bowl alternate, is a key cog in a Colts' offensive line that allowed just 18 regular-season sacks to tie the New Orleans Saints for the league low.
Receiver T.Y. Hilton (ankle) did not practice but is expected to be available against the Texans, but strong safety Clayton Geathers (knee) also returned after missing the past two games.
