NFL: Dallas Cowboys move to 3-1 after dominant win over the New Orleans Saints

Tony Romo, Terrance Williams and DeMarcus Murray helped lead Dallas Cowboys to a 38-17 victory over the New Orleans Saints.

Romo was back to his best as he completed 22-of-29 passes for 262 yards and three touchdowns as the Cowboys moved to 3-1 for the season.

Romo connected with Williams twice, while Murray also registered two touchdowns with the running back making 149 rushing yards.

Dallas dominated the first two periods to lead 24-0 at the break, with a fourth-quarter rally from the Saints far too little to worry the Cowboys.

Romo tossed a six-yard scoring pass to Williams to opening the scoring in the first quarter.

Dan Bailey extended the advantage with a 51-yard field goal before Murray registered his first off a 15-yard run.

Williams then ensured the Cowboys would enter the half-time interval in complete control after Romo found his with a 23-yard scoring pass.

Shayne Graham finally got the Saints on the scoreboard with a 30-yard field goal, however it was 31-3 when Murray scored off a 28-yard run.

The Saints added some respectability to the score when Drew Brees connected with Josh Hill (12 yards) and Jimmy Graham (13 yards) however the Cowboys had the final word as Romo threw an 18-yard scoring pass to Dez Bryant.

Brees ended up with 32 completed passes off 44 attempts, racking up 340 yards – although he was picked off once by Justin Durant.
