The Seattle Seahawks have traded wide receiver Percy Harvin to the New York Jets.
Harvin played a starring role in the Seahawks' dominant Super Bowl victory over Denver in February but he leaves the Pacific Northwest for a conditional mid-round pick in the 2015 draft.
Harvin has been in Seattle for less than two seasons and with no money guaranteed after this year on a lucrative contract, he has nine games with the Jets to prove his worth.
He has just 22 recepetions this campaign for 133 yards and no touchdowns - although he remarkably had three potential scores ruled out for penalties in the week five clash against the Washington Redskins.
He has rushed for 92 yards on 11 carries with one touchdown so far but made no impact in the loss to Dallas on his final start for the current world champions.
