NFL: Green Bay Packers defeat New England Patriots at Lambeau Field

Aaron Rodgers' Green Bay Packers fended off the Tom Brady and his New England Patriots' side 26-21 in a battle of the Super Bowl contenders at Lambeau Field.
Rodgers got the better of Brady in the first meeting between the star quarterbacks throwing for two touchdowns to move to 9-3 for the season and 6-0 on home soil.
The Packers' quarterback connected with Richard Rodgers and Jordy Nelson for long touchdowns while the Patriots offence failed to find any rhythm.
Green Bay settled for four field goals from Mason Crosby of 35 yards or less, including a 28-yarder to make it a five-point lead with 8:41 left.
That kick came after rookie Davante Adams dropped a potential touchdown pass on third-and-five from the New England 10.
Mike Daniels and Mike Neal combined to sack Brady on third down for a nine-yard loss with time against the visitors, and then kicker Stephen Gostkowkski pushed a 47-yard field-goal attempt wide right with 2:40 left on the clock.
The Packers sealed victory after Rodgers converted to a slippery Randall Cobb on third-and-four with the Patriots out of timeouts.
Brady finished with two touchdown passes to Brandon LaFell for New England (9-3), who had their seven-game winning streak snapped.
New England will retain the top spot in the AFC regardless of the Broncos' result in Kansas City and they will attempt to get back to winning ways in San Diego next Sunday.
While the Packers were ascending, Arizona continued to struggle since losing their star QB Carson Palmer after a 29-18 loss in Atlanta.
Julio Jones shone with 189 receiving yards for the Falcons (5-7) who scored the game's first 17 points.
Arizona (9-3) have now lost their last two games and appear limited offensively since Palmer's season-ending injury three weeks ago.
