Brandon Marshall will make the move to the New York Jets as the NFL franchise takes steps to rebuild its offence.

Marshall has been dealt to the Jets pending a physical, according to nfl.com

Mashalll, who turns 31 on March 23 and is a five-time Pro Bowl receiver, is reported to have been traded by Chicago in exchange for a fifth-round draft pick.

The trade cannot become official until the NFL's new league year begins on March 10.

Marshall has played the last three seasons with the Bears. He had 61 catches last season, his lowest total since his rookie year with Denver in 2006, and has had his playing time cut short by injuries, including broken ribs and a lung injury in December.

The Bears acquired Marshall from Miami in 2012 and are deep into a rebuilding phase under new coach John Fox, who moved to Chicago after leaving Denver Broncos in January.
