The NFL have shared their 25 top selling shirt names in June 2015 - who is the most popular player in the league?

25. Joe Haden - Cleveland Browns

The Cleveland Browns cornerback kicks off the list having established himself as a real fans' favourite in his five years with the franchise. He made 58 tackles last season - a career best - to take him past 250 in total.

24. Tony Romo - Dallas Cowboys

As QB for one of the biggest and most popular franchises in the NFL, it is little surprise that Romo makes this list. It is even less of a surprise when you consider he threw 34 touchdown passes in the 2014/15 season.

23. Ryan Tannehill - Miami Dolphins

Any Dolphins QB has to deal with comparisons to the legendary Dan Marino and while it would be extremely premature to say Tannehill is at that level, he has impressed in Miami and threw over 4,000 yards last season.

22. 12th Fan - Seattle Seahawks

The Seahawks fans are famous for their vociferous support and, such has been their impact, that president Mike McCormack retired the No 12 jersey in their honour.

21. Teddy Bridgewater - Minnesota Vikings

A first round draft pick ahead of the 2014 campaign, Bridgewater started the year as back-up QB but ended it as NFL Rookie of the Year. In just 12 starts he threw almost 3,000 yards and established himself as a starter for the Vikings.

20. Marshawn Lynch - Seattle Seahawks

The controversial running back ran in 15 touchdowns last season as the Seahawks reached a second Super Bowl in as many years. However, he arguably made as many headlines for his "I'm just here so I won't get fined" press conference as he did for his form on the field.

19. Khalil Mack - Oakland Raiders

A top five pick in the 2014 draft, the outside linebacker perhaps deserves special credit for gaining attention as a defensive player for a team that rarely enjoys the spotlight. Having played in all 16 games, he finished the season with 76 tackles, four sacks and one forced fumble. Expect his popularity to grow...

18. Kam Chancellor - Seattle Seahawks

As a member of the Legion of Boom, who's going to tell Chancellor he doesn't deserve his spot on this list? The Seahawks' 2010 fifth-round draft pick idolises the late Sean Taylor of the Washington Redskins and has based his tough-tackling style on his hero.

17. Ndamukong Suh - Miami Dolphins

Ndamukong Suh:

You either love Suh or hate him, and judging by his presence in this popularity contest it seems the controversial bruiser has his fair share of supporters. He might be one of the most aggressive defensive players in the NFL so it's best not to question him...

16. Tim Tebow - Philadelphia Eagles

Having recently touched down at the Eagles, Tebow remains one of the most talked about players in the sport, more for his off-field activities than his manipulation of the football. His spot on this list was never in doubt.

15. Jason Witten - Dallas Cowboys

He has played every game for the Cowboys since 2006, a remarkable model of consistency that his supporters clearly appreciate. Although he was required more as a blocker last season, a new offensive philosophy minus DeMarco Murray could see Witten take a more eye-catching role in the near future.

14. Derek Carr - Oakland Raiders

One of the more athletic quarterbacks, Carr also possesses the sort of awareness that makes him an ideal pocket-passer and a surefire player to watch next season. One of the Raiders' few plus points in the last campaign, watch out for Carr and his partner in crime Amari Cooper to improve further when the action restarts.

13. Andrew Luck - Indianapolis Colts

Andrew Luck #12 of the Indianapolis Colts

One of the NFL's biggest stars of this generation, he looks set to become a wanted man as he enters the fourth year of a five-year deal with the Colts. He ranks just outside of most fans' list of elite quarterbacks but, aged just 25, can expect to sell even more shirts if his fortunes improve next season.

12. Peyton Manning - Denver Broncos

You might think that anybody who wants a Manning shirt would have bought one by now, as the 39-year-old approaches the tail-end of a legendary career, yet only 11 players are selling more shirts than Manning. If you haven't got any Manning merchandise since his 1998 debut you'll be delighted to know there's no sign of the Broncos quarterback calling it a day yet.

11. JJ Watt - Houston Texans

The NFL's top defensive end was recently voted the best player in the entire league by his fellow professionals. As the first defensive player to win the accolade, it speaks volumes about Watt's impact - although his popularity trails his remarkable ability judging by the fact that 10 players that sell more shirts!

10. Rob Gronkowski - New England Patriots

It's good to be Gronk, as his autobiography suggests, and clearly a lot of fans agree. The partying tight end has built an army of supporters not only on his fun-loving personality but also the 82 receptions and 12 touchdowns that he recorded last season.

9. DeMarco Murray - Philadelphia Eagles

It's not hard to see why the NFL's Offensive Player of the Year is so popular after 1,845 rushing yards last season. Having switched from the Cowboys to the Eagles, all eyes will be on Murray to replicate that form with his new team.

8. Jameis Winston - Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Considering Winston is yet to make his NFL debut, his presence among the sport's biggest shirt sellers is impressive. The Bucs snapped him up as the 2015 draft's first pick and the 21-year-old quarterback will have more eyes on him next season that he could have ever imagined.

7. Russell Wilson - Seattle Seahawks

Seattle's unrivalled fan-base has undoubtedly aided Wilson's potency to flog shirts adorned with his name. Having played back-to-back Super Bowls, the quarterback is highly thought of around the league yet is likely to remain with the Seahawks on a rookie contract.

6. Dez Bryant - Dallas Cowboys

Maybe don't commit to a Cowboys shirt with Bryant's name just yet! The wide receiver's future is up in the air so the next batch of Bryant shirts that appear on next year's list may not be Dallas jerseys.

5. Aaron Rodgers - Green Bay Packers

Already regarded as one of the best quarterbacks ever, Rodgers has racked up two MVP prizes plus a healthy number of fans parting with their cash to buy his shirt. The fifth biggest shirt seller is 31-years-old but shows no signs of slowing down as he prepares for another season with the Packers.

4. Colin Kaepernick - San Francisco 49ers

The 49ers have undergone significant changes this off-season but Kaepernick will remain. Having played for the same team since 2011 we assume everyone in San Francisco has bought his shirt by now...

3. Tom Brady - New England Patriots

What more can be said about Brady? The long-time NFL poster boy has won four Super Bowls, is married to supermodel Gisele, and represents the inspiration for countless Americans who aspire to carve out a similar legacy. The only surprise is that two players sell more shirts than Brady.

2. Marcus Mariota - Tennessee Titans

Mariota has appeared loudly on the NFL scene with a cult following from his college days plus an appreciative mob of Titans fans eager to buy his shirt and welcome their new hero. The second pick from the 2015 draft will look forward to cultivating his own brand further when his NFL career truly kicks into gear next season.
