Martavis Bryant could still be absent for the Pittsburgh Steelers as they travel to the San Diego Chargers.

The Steelers wide receiver has been forced to wait for his regular season debut due to a four-week ban and a minor knee problem is set to keep him on the sidelines for the clash with the Chargers, live on Sky Sports, in the early hours of Tuesday.

Bryant, who is believed to have tweaked his knee in practice, will be joined in the treatment room by linebacker Ryan Shazier, who is not fit enough to return since injuring his shoulder in the week two win over the San Francisco 49ers.

But wide receiver Markus Wheaton should be available after recovering from the ankle injury he suffered in the week four defeat by Baltimore Ravens.

The Chargers also have fitness concerns of their own as left tackle King Dunlap, left guard Orlando Franklin and right guard D.J Fluker all missed practice on Wednesday due to injuries.

Center Chris Watt is fully fit after an ankle problem and could shift to one of the guard positions.
