The NFL has released its full schedule for 2008, confirming that Buffalo will play a 'home' game against Miami in Toronto.

NFL continue international expansion

The National Football League released its 2008 schedule on Tuesday and it includes a game in both Canada and England. The New York Giants begin their Super Bowl defence by hosting NFC East rivals the Washington Redskins in the season opener on September 4. The Buffalo Bills will face the Miami Dolphins in Toronto on December 7 while - for the second time in as many seasons - the NFL ventures across the pond as the San Diego Chargers take on the New Orleans Saints in London on October 26. "The schedule is determined by the National Football League," said Bills chief operating officer Russ Brandon. "They determine the schedule for all 32 member clubs and we have zero input into the process. "That being said we're excited to play up in the Toronto marketplace and continue that rivalry (with Miami) up north. "As we've said all along this series is about regionalization." The wild-card round of the play-offs is scheduled for January 3 and 4, followed by the divisional play-offs on January 10 and 11 and the conference championship games on January 18. Super Bowl XLII will take place in Tampa, Florida on February 1.
