After a scoreless first quarter, the Falcons ran away from the Patriots in the second thanks two to big turnovers, before New England launched a staggering second half comeback to win their fifth Super Bowl title.

The first Patriots turnover - a forced fumble from Deion Jones - helped set up the opening touchdown of the game, Devonta Freeman running in for a five-yard touchdown for the Falcons.

That lead was added to with a 19-yard score for Austin Hooper from a Matt Ryan pass, while his opposite number Tom Brady's miserable first half was compounded when he was picked off, gifting the Falcons a third touchdown.

Defensive back Alford made the play, before sprinting off down the right side line running the ball all the way back to the house.
