Playing a behind-the-back shot in a table tennis game is an achievement with your friends, but is something quite different at the Olympic Games.
Maharu Yoshimura helped Japan to a gold medal in the team event, easing them past China in the Rio 2016 final.
In an earlier game against Germany, Yoshimura, with the ball speeding towards him at an awkward angle, effortlessly swung his arm behind his back and batted a return shot which led to the point.
It was a standout moment in day 10 of the Olympics which also saw Great Britain's Charlotte Dujardin win a gold medal in dressage while cyclist Mark Cavendish claimed a silver.
But nothing was as funny as Yoshimura's trick shot, so watch the video at the top of this page.
