After her successes at the Commonwealth Games in 2010 Jenna Randall is a potential medal prospect for Team GB at London 2012.

The 22-year-old from Camberley clinched two silver medals in Delhi, one in the solo competition and the other in the duet along with partner Olivia Allison.

Randall and Allison became the first British synchro swimmers to compete at an Olympic Games for 16 years in Beijing 2008, finishing 14th in the duet.

She finished eighth in her technical solo at the 2009 World Championships in Romel, ninth in the freestyle solo and tenth in the freestyle duet.

And at the 2010 World Cup at Changshu in China she finished sixth and eighth respectively in the solo and duet.

The former dancer, who started swimming at the age of two and began synchro at just seven, announced herself on the world stage when she won silver at the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne.

She gave up dancing to follow her elder sister Tia into the sport and, although Tia has since retired, younger sister Asha is also a member of the national squad.

Randall made her debut for Team GB aged just 13 put her AS level studies and university plans on hold in order to concentrate on her sport.

Currently ranked 10th she now trains six days a week for up to 10 hours a day on the quest to achieve her goal of becoming world number one.
