Will Britain rule the waves at the Olympics? We pick out the highlights of the sailing event at London 2012.
SUNDAY, JULY 29
The first day in Weymouth and Portland begins with racing in three classes. Ben Ainslie begins his search for a fourth Olympic gold medal as the Finn gets under way, while Iain Percy and Andrew Simpson begin their bid to repeat their Star victory of four years ago. The first day also sees Lucy Macgregor, Kate Macgregor and Annie Lush begin their Elliott 6m campaign.
MONDAY, JULY 30
Several other classes start in Dorset, with another British sailor looking to retain their gold from Beijing in Paul Goodison of the Laser. Stevie Morrison and Ben Rhodes begin their campaign in the 49ers and Olympic debutant Ali Young starts in the Laser Radial.
TUESDAY, JULY 31
The men and women's windsurfing gets under way on the south coast, with reigning bronze medallist Bryony Shaw looking to secure another medal. Nick Dempsey will be hoping to better his fourth place in China in the men's event.
THURSDAY, AUGUST 2
Men's 470 duo Luke Patience and Stuart Bithell finally get their Olympic campaign started on the fifth day of racing. The pair won silver at the World Championships in December to effectively secure their Team GB place and will be hoping for similar success on home waters.
FRIDAY, AUGUST 3
The last of the 10 Olympic classes begins as Hannah Mills and Saskia Clark begin racing. The reigning women's 470 world champions are considered one of the favourites for gold and will be looking to build on the incredible progress they have made since pairing up in February 2011.
SUNDAY, AUGUST 5
Three-time Olympic gold medallist Ainslie has the chance to add to his incredible medal haul on the final day of racing in the Finn class. Percy and Simpson also have their medal race in the Star class on a day where it would not be unrealistic to see two British gold medals.
MONDAY, AUGUST 6
The Laser and Laser Radial events come to a head, with Goodison and Young hoping to take home a medal. While the former is a veteran of the Games, the latter was considered a wildcard upon her selection. However, Young has quickly proved her worth and won the recent Skandia Sail for Gold Regatta on the Olympic waters.
TUESDAY, AUGUST 7
The windsurfing reaches its conclusion on the south coast. Shaw and Dempsey will be looking to sign off with a bang as the discipline has controversially been dropped for the 2016 Rio Games in place of kiteboarding.
WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 8
There is only one medal race on the Wednesday, with Morrison and Rhodes looking to make amends for Beijing and secure a medal in the 49ers. The pair were considered serious contenders in China but only finished ninth - something they hope will not be repeated this summer.
THURSDAY, AUGUST 9
Patience and Bithell see their Olympic regatta come to a close in the men's 470 class. The pair joined up shortly before the 2009 World Championships in Denmark, where they went on to win silver. They repeated the feat last year and will be hoping for an equally successful Olympic debut.
FRIDAY, AUGUST 10
The women's 470 class comes to a close, with many expecting Mills and Clark to be in with a chance of winning gold. The pair - Britain's first ever world champions in the class - have impressed many in their short time together and are widely expected to be on the podium.
SATURDAY, AUGUST 11
The last of the 10 Olympic classes reaches its conclusion on the south coast in the Elliot 6m class, which is also known as women's match racing. Lush and the Macgregor sisters face tough competition for gold but are good value to be involved on the final day of racing in Weymouth.
