Former Dragon pens second Canberra contract
Adam Mogg has re-signed for Canberra Raiders following his departure from Catalans Dragons last week.
After being granted a release by the Perpignan club due to homesickness, Mogg now will begin his second stint with the NRL side.
The 32-year-old has already played 81 games for Canberra from 2003-2006 and has penned a deal until the end of the season.
Mogg will provide cover for the injured Joel Monaghan and Justin Carney and will join up with David Furner's men on Monday.
The centre was released with 18 months left on his contract having made 74 Super League appearances for the Dragons, scoring 25 tries in the process.
Raiders chief executive Don Furner welcomes back Mogg and revealed that an extension to his contact could be implemented if performances are worthy of the deal.
He said: "He knows a lot of the guys, he's a professional and he's very experienced.
"If he is keen and he plays well, I'm sure we will sit down and have a chat to him about another year."
