Hull second-rower to face England in June
Hull forward Willie Manu, who was on the fringe of England selection last year, has been called up to the Exiles squad to play Steve McNamara's team in June.
The Tongan second-rower has been selected by Exiles coach Brian McClennan for the clash at Headingley on June 10 in place of the injured David Fa'alogo.
Manu qualifies for England through residency but missed out on final selection for the 2010 Four Nations and is not set to play against the Exiles.
"Even though I was part of the England training camp 12 months ago, my efforts are now firmly fixed on representing the Exiles and hopefully I will be part of the coach's final 18," he said.
"I have a point to prove to Steve McNamara that I can play at this level and, if I get the chance, I know I can perform and stand out against the England players."
Manu was not included in the Exiles' initial 34-man squad but McClennan has lost second rowers Luke O'Donnell and Huddersfield team-mate Fa'alogo with hamstring injuries.
Left field
McClennan added: "Willie's selection does come out of left field but I like his versatility and he is playing well at the moment.
"I said all along that players could force themselves into recognition and this is a perfect example of what can be achieved when things are going well.
"Willie is strong and will give us a new dimension on the fringes. He is a dynamic runner, who has the ability to offload and bust the defensive line."
The former Leeds boss has also called up St Helens winger Francis Meli, taking the number of players in his squad to 22.
"Francis will add depth to the three-quarters and will give us options in this area," he said.
"He is capable of playing in the centres as well as being one of the most devastating finishers out wide in the Engage Super League."
