England international Jack Reed continued his meteoric rise to fame after being selected for the NRL All Stars. The Yorkshire-born centre received nearly 5,000 votes in the public poll, beating Corey Parker, Petero Civoniceva and Ben Hannant as Brisbane's representative for the game against the Indigenous All Stars on February 4. Reed, whose family emigrated to Australia when he was two, was signed by the Broncos 12 months ago and went on to play every game before representing England in the Four Nations Series.
