Morrison "delighted" to get Dewsbury job
Former Bradford and Wakefield back-row forward Glenn Morrison has been appointed coach of Championship club Dewsbury.
Morrison, 36, who has been on the coaching staff at the Wildcats since hanging up his boots in November 2011, got the job ahead of former Wakefield assistant coach Paul Broadbent, who had been in temporary charge following the departure of Warren Jowitt a month ago.
"I am delighted to be taking on the job at Dewsbury," said Morrison, who has agreed a two-year deal. "It's a great club and I'm very keen to bring success."
The former Parramatta and North Queensland forward was coach of the Wildcats' Under-20s team and also helped out with the Exiles squad for this season's International Origin Series against England.
