Salford City Reds coach Phil Veivers has admitted he is already planning for the 2013 Stobart Super League season.
The Reds have made steady progress under the Australian this year and Veivers is keen to maintain their upward momentum.
Veivers has been discussed potential signings and has already ruled out one of two faces, although their plans remain an on-going progress.
Discussions
"We are looking and discussing a number of players - we're knocking one or two on the head at this stage," he told the
Manchester Evening News.
"A lot of names have been forwarded and have been bandied about. It's simply a case of weighing up all the options and seeing how much we have to spend.
"We don't have specific targets in mind at this stage. It's an on-going process."
