Wakefield forward Frankie Mariano has joined Championship side Featherstone

Featherstone have bolstered their squad with the loan acquisitions of Wakefield back-row forward Frankie Mariano and former Hull and London Broncos winger Will Sharp.
Super League Wildcats, meanwhile, have signed academy star Ben Shulver, 19, on a full-time professional contract until the end of 2014. The former Hunslet Warriors player made his debut in the Challenge Cup victory over Hemel Stags at the weekend and becomes the first acquisition to take advantage of the Club 1873 initiative. Club 1873 sees supporters pay £2 a week to support the academy structure at the Rapid Solicitors Stadium, with Shulver becoming the first to graduate through to the first team since.
