Ankle injury not as bad as first feared
Hull captain Sean Long is expecting to make a quicker than expected return to action.
The former St Helens scrum-half picked up an ankle injury in the defeat to Warrington, with Long forced off during the first half on Monday.
And although the 33-year-old is set to miss Sunday's trip to Leeds, he remains confident that he will be back in action soon.
Long told the club's official site: "I had a scan on Tuesday to have an initial look at the injury and we will monitor it over the next few days with Rich (Agar, coach) and Simon Pope, our physio, to see how it looks.
"It was an odd one really, I just got my foot caught and went over on my ankle which can happen fairly easily, so we'll have a look it at this week and see how it goes."
