Jacob Miller is expected to sign for another Super League club after leaving Hull.

The Australian half-back still had a year left to run on his contract but has reached a settlement agreement with the Black and Whites, meaning he is now a free agent.

Signed from Wests Tigers midway through the 2013 campaign by former coach Peter Gentle, Miller was part of the side that played in the Challenge Cup final at Wembley that year.

He made a total of 24 appearances but fell out of favour this year under new boss Lee Radford, resulting in him finishing the season on dual registration at Championship club Doncaster.

“The club have agreed a termination fee with the player who is now a free agent and widely expected to join another Super League club imminently,” a statement on Hull’s website read.

“Hull FC would like to thank Jacob for his contribution to the club over the last 18 months.”

Miller was deemed surplus to requirements at the KC Stadium following the signings of play-making duo Marc Sneyd and Leon Pryce for 2015 and beyond.
