Super League: Jay Pitts accepts ban as Michael Weyman wins appeal

Bradford on-loan forward Jay Pitts will miss Sunday's Super League game against Salford after accepting a one-game ban for a dangerous throw on Warrington's Anthony England.
Pitts submitted an early guilty plea (EPG) to the offence, which took place in the Bulls' 46-10 Challenge Cup quarter-final defeat at the weekend.
The 24-year-old has played every game for Bradford since arriving at Odsal on a season-long loan from Hull FC.
It is another blow to head coach Francis Cummins' squad after prop Antonio Kaufusi chose not to extend his loan spell from Huddersfield.
Hull KR forward Michael Weyman won his appeal against a two-match ban imposed after he was found guilty of using foul or abusive language to a referee.
Weyman argued that his comments, made during his side's 54-12 defeat at Castleford nine days ago, were directed at a team-mate rather than the official.
The former St George Illawarra prop, who was sent off for the comments, will be free to play for Rovers in Friday's home game against Warrington.
