Centre hoping to face Wigan in opener
Huddersfield's new signing Aaron Murphy has been cleared to start the new season after recovering from a wrist injury.
The 23-year-old centre, who joined the Giants from Wakefield on a four-year contract, was forced to miss his new club's pre-season friendlies but is hoping to make the team for the opening Super League game at Wigan on Sunday week.
"I got the go-ahead from the specialist a couple weeks back and now my wrist feels fine," he said. "If I get selected for round one, then I'll be an available option."
