Reds revolution continues
Salford have recruited two new faces, with overseas duo Iafeta Paleaaesina and Phil Bailey arriving from Wigan.
Shaun McRae's summer signings count now stands at seven after prop forward Paleaaesina, 28, signed a three-year contract while second rower Bailey, 30, penned a two-year deal.
Both players were out of contract with the Warriors at the end of the season and were not offered new deals, but that has not stopped McRae bringing them to Salford.
They will join Luke Patten, Chris Nero, Stephen Wild, Tevita Leo-Latu and Vinnie Anderson at a new-look Reds team for a final season at The Willows before the club moves across the city to their new stadium.
"I'm really looking forward to joining Salford," said Paleaaesina, who has spent the last four seasons with Wigan after joining them from Auckland Warriors.
"I know some of the other guys who are coming such as Tevita Leo-Latu and Vinnie Anderson really well and we're all talking about next season and we're pretty excited about getting Salford up where they should be.
"The Reds have struggled this season because of injuries and that can happen. Next season though I think we'll have a bit more depth and we'll certainly be a different proposition."
Bailey joined Wigan from Cronulla in 2007 and made over 100 appearances.
