Dragons coach calls for more from full-back after hat-trick
Catalan Dragons coach Trent Robinson now wants to see even more from hat-trick hero Clint Greenshields after his display against Crusaders on Friday.
Greenshields' treble helped the French side to a 32-22 win over their Welsh opponents in their Engage Super League clash.
The Dragons won their second game of the season with a brace of tries from Ben Farrar adding to Greenshields' hat-trick.
Robinson, though, was not fully satisfied with the display from Greenshields, who he feels can play even better.
"He is still a little bit away from playing really good footie but you still expect him to come up with a class game," said Robinson.
Confidence
"Your confidence as a team, knowing how to win and knowing how to lose, is what matters. I think we have improved in the last three or four weeks and the ethics have been there that we didn't have in the first two weeks.
"We are working really hard and probably playing the right footie but we didn't know how to control it in the second half.
"We have got a good spirit in the club, with the foreign guys mixing with the French guys, and in the end winning makes it more confident. I still think this spirit is the foundation for us."
Crusaders coach Iestyn Harris was naturally disappointed after watching yet another defeat for his struggling outfit.
"We didn't start the game particularly well because Rhys Williams came up with an error from a high ball and we were 6-0 down," Harris said.
Error
"Another error made it 12-0 down and you are climbing a mountain to try and get back into the game. We did enough in the game to get the two points. It was just a lack of skill and ability to keep building pressure on the other side.
"At the end, we had a harsh penalty which put them on our goal-line and they ultimately scored so you have to take that.
"I felt as though we had enough to win that game and the players are extremely frustrated, as I am and everyone else is in the club.
"I don't think we will be too far away come the middle the year and we will catch someone."
Full-back Clinton Schifcofske was taken off injured as well to add to the frustrations. Harris added: "The medical staff with assess him tomorrow and we will know more over the week. I don't think it is a major concern."
