Catalans boss refusing to underestimate Championship club
Catalan Dragons coach Trent Robinson says his side will treat Carnegie Challenge Cup opponents Sheffield Eagles with "respect" on Saturday.
Despite being huge favourites to topple the Championship part-timers in the fifth-round clash, Robinson will resist the temptation to field a weakened team.
And having seen the Eagles recently score 60 points in a win at Featherstone, Robinson is aware of the threat posed by the 1998 champions.
"We've had a slight rotation and that won't change that," he said. "Form is important, you can't park it at the side of the road for a week.
"Sheffield deserve respect for the way they've gone about their competition.
"They're an amazing attacking team. They showed that recently so we need to be conscious of how they play the game."
The match at Stade Gilbert Brutus brings together brothers Ian and Andrew Henderson, both hookers who have clashed before in Super League when they played for Bradford and Castleford respectively.
Banter
Andrew, now with Sheffield, admits it is a chance for him to secure family bragging rights, with other brother Kevin, formerly with Wakefield but now playing in the French elite league, set to watch on from the stands.
"Ian was over here last week and we've had a bit of banter about the game," said Andrew.
"We're both very pleased with the draw we got and it's great to have that sibling rivalry as it adds another element to the game for me personally.
"To test yourself against your brother and some of the best players in the world is a great opportunity and one I'm looking forward to.
"Our other brother Kevin will also be there watching in the stands so it will be great to see all the family again but on the pitch we'll be determined to out-do each other.
"It would be outstanding for us to progress and I'd certainly enjoy having the family bragging rights."
