Centre becomes second confirmed recruit by Robins

Hull KR have increased their contingent of former Hull FC players by signing centre Craig Hall on a two-year deal. The 22-year-old, who is the son of former Robin Dave Hall, scored 39 tries for the Airlie Birds but was was not offered a new contract beyond 2010. He suffered a knee injury in his final appearance for the club - which was ironically a play-off defeat to Rovers at the KC Stadium - but is confident he will be fit to start pre-season training with his new team-mates. "I'm looking forward to it," Hall told Hull KR's official website. "I think I might have become a bit stale at FC so I'm looking forward to the new challenge. "I've had some good news about the injury which means I'm looking to be back in full training just in time for the start of pre-season."

Cross-city switch

Hall becomes coach Justin Morgan's sixth signing from the Black and Whites. Chris Chester, Paul Cooke, Shaun Briscoe, Scott Wheeldon and Josh Hodgson have all made the short move across the city in recent years. On his latest recruit, Morgan said: "Craig will bring a lot of qualities to our squad. "He's still very young but has plenty of Super League experience. His tryscoring record at this level is excellent and he has a hunger for a fresh challenge." Rovers had already confirmed the capture of Australian forward Willie Mason, while Canterbury half-back Blake Green is still awaiting his visa to seal his switch to New Craven Park for the 2011 campaign.
