Centre confirms exit from the Reds
Grand Final-winning centre Will Chambers has switched codes back to rugby league to rejoin his former club Melbourne Storm.
The 23-year-old, who last appeared for Storm in their NRL Grand Final victory over Parramatta Eels in 2009, has agreed a three-year deal with the club.
After leaving the Storm, Chambers spent his time in rugby union, playing for Queensland Reds in the Super Rugby as well as a spell with Irish side Munster.
Storm manager Frank Ponissi has been keeping his eye on Chambers for a while and was delighted when the centre agreed to return.
"I have been following Will's progress over the past two years and when I caught up with him in Limmerick, it was clear he had a desire to come back to rugby league," Ponissi told the club's official site.

"To secure his services now is a real bonus. Pleasingly we were able to agree terms over the past couple of days, completing our 2012 roster and adding quality depth to our centre position with Dane Nielsen, Maurice Blair and Justin O'Neill.
"This is great news for Melbourne Storm and it's tremendous to get a player of Will's calibre back playing rugby league."
Chambers joined Storm at 17 and went on to make 42 appearances for the club in his first spell at the AAMI Park.
However, the returning Storm back admits it was a tough decision to return having enjoyed his time in rugby union but concedes he couldn't resist returning to his old team.
"I have thoroughly enjoyed the last couple of years, especially with Munster, who are a great club with awesome supporters," Chambers added.
"This was a very difficult decision with several things to consider.
"The overriding factor was a return to Melbourne to be coached by Craig (Bellamy) and being part of the Melbourne Storm culture once again."
