The Tigers full-back submitted an early-guilty plea after being charged by the Rugby Football League's match-review panel with hitting Leeds' Carl Ablett during.
The incident occurred during his side's 40-22 defeat at the ahnds of the reigning Stobart Super League champions at Headingley on Sunday.
Owen, who was charged with the grade B offence, will now miss his club's trip to Widnes Vikings next Monday, a game which is
live on Sky Sports.
