Saints and Dragons provide backbone for England clash

Exiles boss Daniel Anderson has plundered Catalan Dragons and St Helens for almost half his squad to face England on June 16. The two Super League sides have both had five players included in Anderson's 22-man party for the Exiles' first international fixture of the summer. Anderson, who named his squad via video link-up from Australia on Wednesday, has retained nine of the players selected by Brian McClennan for last season's inaugural fixture. Wigan and Warrington will provide four players each and Huddersfield supply a further two, while Hull and London chip in with one apiece. Although the squad has been picked from just half of Super League's 14 sides, it includes 193 international caps among its ranks. Fiji centre Darryl Millard, prop Lopini Paea, last year's pick Louis Anderson, form scrum-half Scott Dureau and London Irish-bound Setaimata Sa are all included from the title-chasing Dragons. Saints, who Anderson coached between 2005 and 2008, provide forward Anthony Laffranchi, winger Francis Meli, New Zealand international Lance Hohaia, centre Sia Soliola and Tony Puletua. Andersons's line-up features just one change from the original 30-man group, with David Faiumu drafted in from the Giants. Exiles: Laffranchi, Meli, Hohaia, Soliola, Puletua (all St Helens), Kaufusi (London), Finch, Carmont, Lima, Leuluai (all Wigan), Hodgson, Joel Monaghan, Michael Monahan, Waterhouse (all Warrington), Millard, Paea, Anderson, Dureau, Sa, (all Catalan), Faiumu, O'Donnell (Huddersfield), Manu (Hull).
