England Knights head coach Kieron Purtill is excited at the talent on offer after naming his 19-man squad for this autumn's Alitalia Cup.

Pressure

Purtill was happy with last season's victories and he knows the pressure remains on his squad to continue their fine form. "We put pressure on ourselves to perform and we want to be successful as a group," he said. "We got off to a good start last year but our upcoming games present very different challenges as it will be the first time these players have travelled as a group and that brings its own challenges. "But we're all relishing the task ahead. We have to work hard to get the squad blended together before we begin the tournament but we're all working towards a common goal of winning and showcasing our talent and I'm confident we can do that." England Knights Squad: Jodie Broughton (Salford), George Burgess (South Sydney), Tom Burgess (Bradford), Daryl Clark (Castleford), Chris Clarkson (Leeds), Mike Cooper (Warrington), Kieran Dixon (London), Greg Eden (Huddersfield), Rhys Evans (Warrington), Luke Gale (Bradford), Danny Houghton (cpt) (Hull FC), Jack Hughes (Wigan), Ben Jones-Bishop (Leeds), Michael Lawrence (Huddersfield), Shaun Lunt (Huddersfield), Chris Riley (Warrington), Dan Sarginson (London), Scott Taylor (Hull KR), Jordan Turner (Hull FC).
