With the Easter double-header set to stay, it's time to look for positives

Image: If it's points the RFL want, they got plenty at Craven Park on Easter Monday

Right now I'm stuck on the sidelines trying to get my injured ribs right. I copped a whack in the back in the Catalans game (unlike Gareth Bale against Basel, I was not stretchered off).

Phenomenal scores

Some of the scores on the Monday were phenomenal. If the Rugby Football League wants attacking footy, then they definitely got it on that day! When you play in the regular season there is a degree of safety. There is always next week, so you can throw the ball around a little more freely and try speculative plays. Of course, that stops in the play-offs, where it becomes all about playing the percentages as it's win or go home. For now, though, there is definitely no caution. It seems a case of however many you score, we will just get one more. The theme at the moment in the competition is attack, attack, attack. For a coach over Easter they have to make a choice over which game they put their focus on. Hull KR, for instance, conceded plenty of points against Wigan just 72 hours after taking part in a bruising derby encounter with Hull FC. Which of those games were more important to their fans? As I've said, I don't think the Easter schedule works. But I'm not going to continually go on about it. It's here to stay for now, so let's get on and see what we can get out of it.
