Challenge Cup semi-finalists Hull have recalled forward Matty Dale from his loan spell with Wakefield.
The 21-year-old Dale joined the Wildcats on a month's loan initially with a view to keeping him for the rest of the season and he made two appearances but injuries have forced Hull to call him back.
"Matty made a great contribution to the squad during his time here and we would have liked to have kept him longer," said Wakefield coach John Kear.
"We would like to thank Matty for his efforts and we wish him the best of luck in the future."
