Caution from coach ahead of semi
Hull fans should not read too much into their side's impressive Super League win over Wakefield according to coach Richard Agar.
An inspired second-half fightback on Saturday saw the Black and Whites turn around a 12-6 half-time deficit into a 26-18 victory at Belle Vue.
The win lifted Hull into 10th in the table and saw them complete the Super League double over the Wildcats.
But Agar is expecting a far stiffer challenge from the Wildcats when the teams meet again for their Challenge Cup semi-final showdown at Doncaster on July 27.
The result however, plus the fact that Hull expect the imminent return of several injured players, will give Agar's men a psychological boost to take into the Keepmoat clash, where they will start as favourites to reach the Wembley final.
"I wouldn't read too much into this result," said Agar. "I'm certain that both teams will be wanting to play better in the semi-final than they have played tonight.
"I certainly know that we will have a different team on the park and I wouldn't be surprised if we saw a slightly different Wakefield side.
"I think both teams are maybe glad to get this one out of the way. I do think we'll see a different semi-final but, of course, we're pleased with the win."
