Loose forward could miss play-off semi

Catalans Dragons head into Saturday's Super League play-off semi-final against Wigan with disciplinary worries after Gregory Mounis was charged with striking an opponent. The loose forward, who has missed only one match all season, allegedly struck an opponent on the ground with his elbow during the Dragons' 46-8 play-off win over Warrington on Saturday. Mounis was cited by the Rugby Football League's match review panel and will face a disciplinary hearing on Tuesday on a grade C charge. If found guilty, he faces a ban of up to four matches. Meanwhile, Bradford's Fijian winger Semi Tadulala could be forced to miss the World Cup if he is banned for an alleged reckless high tackle. The former Melbourne and Wakefield player was put on report for a tackle on Wigan three-quarter Cameron Phelps during the Bulls' 30-14 play-off defeat on Friday. Any suspension will count towards the World Cup, in which Fiji play group matches against France and Scotland. Tadulala has been named in Fiji's initial 40-man World Cup squad.
