Warrington coach steps down from national role
Warrington coach James Lowes has decided to step down from his role as England trainer in order to concentrate on his club commitments.
The news means that the former Bradford and Great Britain hooker will not be a part of the national set-up for the forthcoming World Cup in Australia.
Lowes joined England's backroom staff a year ago when he was assistant coach to Paul Cullen at the Halliwell Jones Stadium.
However, since promoted to head coach of the Wolves, Lowes has decided to concentrate his efforts on preparing his side fully for the next Super League season.
Bradford's Steve McNamara will continue as right-hand man to England head coach Tony Smith.
