Forward heading to The Stoop on two-year deal
Oliver Wilkes is leaving Wakefield to join Harlequins on a two-year contract at the end of the current season.
The 29-year-old has been a stalwart of the Wildcats side since joining them from Wigan two seasons ago - Wilkes missing only two matches in that time.
"Wilkes has been a consistent performer in Super League for a number of years and we're very pleased he's chosen Harlequins," Quins coach Brian McDermott said.
"We have signed a very athletic and fit player to add to our already hard-working pack."
Wilkes, a Scotland international, said: "I'm very excited about my move to London. I've been an admirer of Brian McDermott for a long time now and the set-up at the club is first class."
