Warriors forward signs one month loan deal at Castleford

Castleford Tigers have signed forward Chris Tuson on a one month loan from Wigan Warriors. The 20-year-old back-rower joins Cherry and Whites team-mate Shaun Ainscough and Warrington prop Micael Cooper as Terry Matterson's third loan signing for the Tigers. Tuson, who made just his second senior appearance for Wigan in their 36-22 win at The Jungle last weekend, goes straight into Castleford's 19-man squad for Friday's home game against the Crusaders. And Matterson is happy with his latest capture, believing he will put his aggressive play to good use. He said: "Chris is a player I have been looking at for a few weeks and would have liked to have brought him in earlier had we not had Wigan coming up when I couldn't have played him. "But it's worked well. He got a run-out on Sunday and I thought that he looked very competent. He is an aggressive, strong-running back rower and I'm sure he will prove a very useful addition to the squad."
