Kiwis snub Super League

Leuluai amongst stars who will not be heading down under

New Zealand coach Stephen Kearney will again ignore Super League players when selecting his side for next month's Test against Australia. Kearney did not consider Europe-based Kiwis for last year's Anzac Test because of the difficulties caused by travel, and has opted for the same approach for the game in Melbourne on May 7. That means Wigan scrum-half or hooker Thomas Leuluai, who has become a regular member of the Kiwis squad, will not be making the trip down under. Last year's Anzac Test team included Greg Eastwood, Iosia Soliola and David Fa'alogo, who are now playing in Super League with Leeds, St Helens and Huddersfield respectively, although Eastwood and Soliola are currently injured.
