Glasgow coach Sean Lineen is relishing pitting his side against the 'All Blacks of the north' when Toulouse arrive at Firhill.
Toulouse have dominated the Heineken Cup in recent years, winning the title four times.
And Lineen admits his side will have to rise to the challenge on Friday.
"Toulouse are the All Blacks of the northern hemisphere," said Lineen.
"They are incredibly comfortable in defence and have real composure and consistency.
"They are great to play against because the let you play rugby, but they still make it extremely difficult to get over the try-line."
The European champions will travel to Glasgow without France lock Romain Millo-Chluski.
Millo-Chluski remains on the sidelines with a pulled muscle suffered in France's loss to Australia at the end of November.
However Toulouse have been buoyed by the return of hooker William Servat, flanker Thierry Dusautoir and centre Yannick Jauzion - with trio having sat out the defeat to Clermont last time out.
