PRO12: First win of the season for Benetton Treviso who claim Italian derby win

Treviso recorded their first win of the season as they beat Zebre 26-16 in the Italian PRO12 derby in Parma.
Both sides came into the fixture in need of a victory, but it was Treviso who arguably needed it more, having failed to register any successes in both the PRO12 and the European Champions Cup so far this season.
However, the visitors made a poor start as they conceded a try early in the game.
Zebre registered the score through winger Giovanbattista Venditti, with Kelly Haimona adding the extras to give them the lead with barely five minutes on the clock.
Treviso seemed undeterred, though, as they found their way into the game with the first of Jayden Hayward’s four successful penalties.
Hayward and Haimona continued to trade penalties throughout the first half before a try from Treviso's Henry Seniloli gave Hayward his first conversion attempt, which he slotted to draw the scores level at 13-13.
As the first half drew to a close Hayward landed another penalty to give the visitors the lead for the first time in the game.
Yellow card
The lead was short-lived after Treviso conceded a penalty and a subsequent three points early in the second half, but they rallied to deny Zebre any further points in the match - a feat made easier when flanker Dries van Skalkwyk was shown a yellow card in the 49th minute, reducing the hosts to 14 men.
Hayward notched another three points from the penalty that accompanied the yellow card which gave his side the lead once more.
Treviso lost a player of their own to the sin-bin when Simone Ragusi was shown yellow, but Zebre were unable to capitalise on their advantage.
In the 73rd minute Treviso pushed the game out of range with a try from Francesco Minto, which Hayward converted to record a personal haul of 16 points as his team came away with a welcome victory in Parma.
